The Louisiana Tech bands will perform a variety of selections for community members at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 14 to showcase a refurbished instrument and the Symphonic Wind Ensemble. Dr. Steele Moegle, an associate professor of music, will perform on the newly refurbished Steinway grand piano, and the Symphonic Wind Ensemble will perform Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue.” Along with other selections, the concert will also feature a new composition by Luke Ellard, a senior music major from Benton. The concert will take place in Howard Auditorium and is free and open to the public.
