COLLEGE OF LIBERAL ARTS

Multimedia Studio

Louisiana Tech’s Multimedia Studio was created as a place to work on multimedia projects using industry standard software such as Avid’s Pro-Tools DAW and Media Composer video editing software. The Studio also affords students the opportunity to complete multi-track audio recording projects.

Within the Studio, students create electronic music projects utilizing Finale, Sibelius, Native Instruments Samples, and the Native Instrument Machine. Students can also use the Studio as a place to record and edit live performances presented in the Recital Hall and Howard Auditorium in both video and audio formats.

The Multimedia Studio was created with funds from the Louisiana Board of Regents Enhancement Grant and matching funds from the College of Liberal Arts and the Department of Music. The Department of Music’s matching funds were from a generous gift made by Tech alum Kix Brooks.
