Louisiana Tech University Choirs will perform their Fall Quarter Concert titled, “Love, Laughter, and Lament” at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 5th in Howard Auditorium on the Louisiana Tech campus.

Louisiana Tech’s Concert Choir will sing a variety of music including gospel and music from Brazil and Zambia.  The Chamber Singers will perform music by George Gershwin, John Rutter, and will feature vocal soloists Dr. Lisa Maxedon, associate professor of voice, and Dr. John M. Petzet, director of choral activities.

Both choirs will perform together at the end of the concert for a rousing conclusion featuring Vaughan Williams’ “O Clap Your Hands” and John Rutter’s “The Lord Bless You and Keep You,” accompanied by Dr. Tracie Ellerman playing the 3 manual Shantz pipe organ.

Tickets will be sold at the door and are $5.00 for adults with students admitted free with a valid Louisiana Tech ID.  For more information, contact Dr. John Petzet at (318) 257-4109 or jpetzet@latech.edu.
