Louisiana Tech Percussion Ensemble to hold concert

The Louisiana Tech Percussion Ensemble will perform at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9 in Howard Auditorium. The concert involves works for a variety of instruments including keyboard percussion, Brazilian surdos, hand saw, celesta, African caxixi, cymbals and kick drums. The ensemble will include works by Walter Mays, Daniel Levitan, Jospeh Tompkins, Modest Mussorgsky and Ney Rosauro. Gregory Lyons, an associate professor of music, will direct the ensemble.
