A Louisiana Tech journalism instructor’s collaborative research will be presented in March at two conferences in two states. Judith Roberts, who also serves as senior writing associate, will present research on “From the Classroom to the Newsroom: Students’ Perception of Multimedia and Social Media in Their Education and Careers” at the Southern States Communication Association’s 81st Annual Convention with her fellow co-authors. Roberts collaborated with graduate students Rebecca Scott and Kristie Dillistone and mass communication associate professor Dr. Jae-Hwa Shin, all from The University of Southern Mississippi, on the project. Roberts will also present this research at The University of Southern Mississippi’s Graduate Research Symposium, also held in March. This will be her second consecutive time to present at this annual symposium.
