Alumnus, playwright to premiere ‘She Kills Monsters’ at Stone Theatre

Louisiana Tech University’s Department of Theatre is proud to host the world premiere of “She Kills Monsters” – an action-packed production written by Louisiana Tech alumnus Qui Nguyen and directed by Mark Guinn, professor and director of the School of Performing Arts. “She Kills Monsters,” the Department of Theatre’s third production of the season, will play in Stone Theatre in the Howard Center for the Performing Arts at 7:30 p.m. February 7-11, and 2:00 p.m. February 12.  Nguyen, who has also written scripts for Marvel Studios, and the Department of Theatre are excited to bring this show to the very same stage where Nguyen was inspired to become a playwright.  “She Kills Monsters” comes to Louisiana Tech with a script that is brand new, even to those who are familiar with the original. “She Kills Monsters is set in a world full of sword fighting, game playing and heartwarming moments that will have you on the edge of your seat as the world of Agnes Evans comes to life right before your eyes.  Fans won’t want to miss the world premiere of this stellar show! Ticket prices for “She Kills Monsters” are as follows: $20 general admission, $10 students with student ID, $15 youth under 14 years old, and $15 seniors 65 years old and up.
