Communication Studies (MA)

Beginning Fall 2022, students interested in a Master of Arts in Communication Studies can now study at Louisiana Tech University! Students will delve into the importance of communicating through technology in our modern and ever-changing world. This degree is packed with 33 hours of classes pertaining to the impact technology has on society and will result in students leaving with a firmer grasp on the technological facet of this modern world.

Have you ever wanted to find out how technology impacts endeavors in space and how cybersecurity communicates to the Internet and the user? This degree also boasts specialized classes that focus on space communication and cybersecurity communication to explore those topics on a deeper level. How has our vision of the world been affected by digital media? What does it mean to be human in a time of intelligent digital agents? These questions and many others like them will be answered in these courses of study!
